Mamba Out

Last season may have seen the Golden State Warriors' record 73-9 season but only one thing could overshadow it; Kobe Bryant's retirement. Drafted by the Charlotte Hornets in 1996 Kobe was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, in a prearranged deal, where he would spend his entire 20-year career playing. With 5 NBA Championships, 18 All-Star appearances, a MVP award and many more accolades under his belt, Kobe was a hero in many NBA fans eyes and a villain to the rest.
Teaming up with New Era for a small collection, the caps focus on the hero and villain aspect of Kobe. Built using a black crown, the visor and top button feature a textured faux black, purple and yellow snake skin print. The HV word-mark appears in metallic gold, outlined in purple on the front panels. The New Era flag uses the same colours in reverse and the KB20 logo completes the look, taking its place on the rear in gold stitch.
